We had to go to Florence so as we didn't have much time for museums, we decided to visit the fantastic food market of San Lorenzo. It was not super busy as there are less tourists around. While wandering around we ended up in Piazza Santissima Annunziata on a film set where they are shooting the third season of Elena Ferrante's L'Amica geniale/My Brilliant friend.

VIVA PAPPA COL POMODORO, AN ITALIAN SONG, SOUNDTRACK FOR DISNEY, A TUSCAN GOURMET DISH
Pappa al Pomodoro, a traditional Tuscan recipe, inspired a catchy song for a great Italian TV musical of the '60, then in a new lease of life, the song reappeared in a recent Disney movie, Luca. Spot the song if you see the movie, and cook the recipe, one of the most delicious simple Tuscan dishes! Santa Caterina 13th-century cloisters make a fantastic contemporary art space.
